Rattan Work
Rattan is a tropical vine that is commercially available. It is also commonly referred to as reed. My designs incorporate hand-dyed accents with a variety of shapes and weaving techniques. Many of the baskets are completed with hardwood, leather, or woven handle treatments. Most baskets are finished with a wood stain, signed, and dated. Some designs are one-of-a-kind, noted in the image captions with a (*). Please contact me for basket information and availability.
